The Eureka! Factory is excited to be part of Hillsborough County’s new monthly networking series, Homebrew Hillsborough, kicking off on Friday, January 30 at 8:30 a.m. at Buddy Brew on Kennedy Avenue, home of the original Tech Talks started by former county commissioner, Mark Sharpe (now director of the Tampa Innovation Alliance).
Hillsborough County is taking the conversation network on the road and we’ll be meeting monthly at a different coffee shops around the county. The Eureka! Factory, a successful and productive recipient of Economic Development Innovation Initiative (EDI2) grants for our tech, education and business community building events like ROBOTICON Tampa Bay, Gulf Coast MakerCon and the 2015 Hack Tampa Bay event, has been invited to facilitate the north Hillsborough County meet-ups, starting March 27, at Zeal Coffee Roasters in Carrollwood.
“Come collaborate and support your local area coffee shop to help our community expand with people, ideas, and connections,” invites county Economic Development Manager, Jennifer Whelihan.
This is a great opportunity for small business, local innovators and entrepreneurs and anyone interested in helping strengthen and grow our local economy to come together to network, share ideas, collaborate, ask for help and offer it. So if you’re in Hillsborough, join us at any of the locations listed on the flyer and help build our Homegrown Hillsborough community! You can RSVP to attend any of the events at Homebrew Hillsborough’s MeetUp page.
