Designing Public Makerspaces – Revitalizing Manufacturing – Inspiring the Spirit of Innovation and Invention
** Community MAKERSPACES **
Designing makerspaces for community spaces like libraries is a challenging exercise in conscientious understanding of a community center’s patrons, community, staff, volunteers, available spaces, library or agency and local government goals and objectives. Eureka! Factory endeavors to carefully discover and uncover the precise solutions and alternatives that meet these specific needs, and deliver a full scale package that includes designs, components, programs, operational policies, and detailed budgets.
Eureka! Factory produces ROBOTICON. At its new home in the University of South Florida Sun Dome, over 60 teams and their families come to the Tampa Bay area, some from as far away as China. ROBOTICON has a strategic mission to provide a high-quality, post-season competitive event that provides robotics team members with opportunities for technical skill building, networking, and college and career readiness experiences.
GULF COAST MAKER & ComiC CON
Gulf Coast Maker & Comic Con is our annual celebration of local manufacturing, industry and innovation. It’s an opportunity for everyone to join together to share resources, learn a craft, hone their skills, find career and academic opportunities, try new tools and innovations, and much more.
