Event Production

Currently, we produce two large scale creative events in the Tampa Bay area: Gulf Coast MakerCon in the spring, and ROBOTICON Tampa Bay in the fall, and partner on a number of other events in Tampa Bay year round.

Gulf Coast MakerCon

GCMC-rectangleIn collaboration with community partners on both sides of Tampa Bay, Eureka Factory annually hosts Gulf Coast MakerCon,  a celebration of the DIY Inventive Spirit . Gulf Coast MakerCon showcases  Makers, Shakers and Innovators across Tampa Bay.

Now in it’s 5th year, guests at Gulf Coast MakerCon can enjoy technical, creative and professional exhibits, workshops and sessions covering everything from patent development and the inventive process, to 3D printing, programming, mechanical and electrical design, green tech and open source technologies, with a special Young Makers section for kids and families, as well.

There’s a wide variety of creative and interactive vendors, exhibitors, and entertainment that includes everything from robotics and metalsmithing, to recycled instruments, ham radio, RC modeling, automotive tech, gaming, inventions, innovations, future tech and much more.

roboticon bannerEach fall, Eureka Factory hosts ROBOTICON Tampa Bay, a K-12 FIRST robotics STEM education showcase.  At ROBOTICON, FIRST students and guests can enjoy a full scale FIRST Robotics Competition event, FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST LEGO League scrimmages and practice games, a Jr. FIRST LEGO League display, and the opportunity to for high school level teams to compete for ROBOTICON Challenge Awards, enjoy a college and career fair, and more!

Guests can tour Team Pits to see team members working on their robots, and have a chance to talk to students, visit the Exhibit Hall to enjoy STEM demos, vendors and organizations, and learn more about technical, math and science career and college opportunities
